Daunelle and Taylor will be getting detailed about the lavender world by hosting a 3-part series. These classes will be held once a month starting in June and concluding in August. We will start off with the history and varieties, moving into soil and planting, and ending our series with a hands on experience in Sierra Shadow's lavender field. While we are there, we will be harvesting our own bundle, and learning about propagation.

We want to remind everyone that this class will be in nature, and you will be handling harvesting tools. You will find bees buzzing around calmly finding the perfect lavender bloom to land on, you may see a spider or some butterflies. Please be observant. We ask you respect the critters in the field, and use caution as you see fit. When using the harvesting tools please be aware of the sharp blade. If you are allergic to bees, we ask you carry your epi pen with you in the field if you have one. There will be a first aid kit in the field and Benadryl will be on site.
This will be a fun class for everyone to attend, we hope to see you there! If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to either Daunelle or Taylor.
